Last week was mama's birthday so we took her to eat in Foley, Alabama, at the new Magnolia Court restaurant. It is part of the Magnolia Hotel.

Here is the sign to the hotel. I would have to cross the street to get a good picture of the hotel so I only got the sign.

Mama and Aunt Sue and I got this shrimp broil lunch. Underneath that shrimp and sauce is a slice of fried green tomato and a chunk of bread. It really was good. Daddy got the hamburger. He said it was good, too. We also ordered the fried crab fritters and they were just okay.

This chandelier hangs in the area between the hotel and the restaurant and will be the entrance to the restaurant when construction is finished. That fixture is so pretty when you see it in person. I bet it night it is really something to see all lit up.

The fence around the hotel property is iron and it really something to see.

You can see the cooks working in this area. This is part of the dining room.

Here is our sweet mama...she is 20 years older than me!
